Terms of Use
The ground rules for this site and for quotes, in plain English. Effective 9 October 2026.
Who runs this site?
Cheapest Way to Fly Private is run by Charter Jet One, an air charter broker that arranges flights with certificated operators. Cheapest Way to Fly Private is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier. We do not own or operate aircraft; every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft.
Are the prices here real offers?
No. Hourly rates, savings percentages, flight times and route notes are planning estimates, shared to help you budget. None of them is an offer to sell.
When does a quote become binding?
Only once you sign a charter agreement, and that agreement names the carrier that will fly you before anything is booked. No aircraft is held for you until the operator confirms it.
What about taxes and fees?
Each quote carries the taxes and fees known when we prepare it, the federal excise tax on domestic flights among them. Government charges can move, and costs that depend on the day, de-icing for example, may be added where your agreement allows.
What if plans change?
Cancellations and changes are settled under the charter agreement you signed, so read its terms before you commit.
Who makes the safety calls?
The operating carrier, which holds operational control of the flight. Its decisions on weather, routing and crew are final.
How far does our liability go?
As far as the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using this site, or for what operators and other third parties do or fail to do. Liability that the law says cannot be limited stays exactly where it is.
Which law applies?
Questions about these terms are settled under the laws of the United States and the State of New York.
Can these terms change?
Yes. The version on this page, with its date, is the one in force when you use the site.
Effective: 9 October 2026.
